Richard Gawthorpe
Richard Gawthorpe BSc. MRICS has over 25 years of experience in the construction industry, spending 10 years in private practice before moving into the public sector.
Richard is an expert in growth trajectory and working with clients and customers in the public, private and third sector at a national level to rejuvenate local economies through established partnership models. He strongly believes that Joint Ventures such as Broadland Growth Limited are at the forefront of bringing expertise from industry and the public sector together for the betterment of the local community and to ensure that we can recycle the public purse.
Shaun Vincent
Shaun Vincent has been a member of Broadland District Council since 2007 representing the Plumstead Ward. He has been a Portfolio Holder and Cabinet member since 2012, Chairman of Place Shaping Panel and of Appointments and Pay Panel.
Shaun’s professional background is in the Financial and Property Services, primarily with Aviva, although his skills have taken him all over the world in resolving key organisational issues.
Now settled back in Norfolk he focuses professionally on Business Improvement, Planning and Change Management.
Melvyn Stone
Melvyn Stone BSc (Hons) RICS has spent over 30 years in Property Estate Asset Management and has developed, sold and managed industrial estates for clients over many years.
Melvyn joined NPS Group in 2004 and is the Estates Director. As well as being the Director responsible for Estate and Asset Management for multiple clients he has undertaken the client lead for the Group on a number of joint venture housing projects with local authorities including Broadland Growth Limited. Melvyn has taken projects from concept to delivery by navigating the partnerships through a business case and risk based decision making processes to ensure the right outcomes are delivered to drive projects forward.
Key to the success of his projects has been Melvyn’s focus on the importance placed on taking partners and clients on the delivery journey as well as focussing on delivery itself.
