Following the multi-award winning success of Carrowbreck Meadow, work has now begun on a new housing development by Broadland Growth Limited.
The 22-dwelling development is situated on Council owned land at Rosebery Road, Great Plumstead. The new homes are contemporary in design and will include air source heat pumps and underfloor heating. Broadland Growth has appointed Cocksedge Building Contractors for the development.
The site comprises one and two bedroom bungalows and three and four bedroom houses which will be sold on the open market, as well as eight affordable homes comprising one and two bedroom flats and bungalows including a wheelchair accessible bungalow. The affordable homes will be allocated to a household with a housing need and a local connection.
Broadland Growth Ltd is a joint venture company between Broadland District Council and NPS Group. The company aims to deliver good quality homes and give a financial return to the public purse to support public services.
